That's an old gambler's trick...walk up to the other player's ball as if it's yours and wait for him to play your ball. Then you innocently look at the ball and say...Oh, this isn't my ball! lol.
I've had it tried on me but it never worked. I usually know which ball is which before I get there based on what I saw in flight...even if they're only 6-8 yards apart and not visible from the tee.
