I suspect this is not Capstones pps issue as IIRC as of the last holdings report we had few left that are holding substantial positions.
If we add in the BIG reduction in short interest, that means some days had substantial buying by the shorters that theoretically likely would have soaked up what selling there was by others.
OTOH, if we did have a/some hedgie(s) in with an appreciable position (Capt, can check the latest?) and they took the path of sell the long positions first, to both reduce exposure and to drive price down, and then cover the short positions, this could indeed be Capstones pps problem.
'Course we'll never know, but you posted a great find that may, in fact, be a major influence regardless of my thoughts.
