"Blatant manipulation" sounds close enough to the word "conspiracy". If one wants to tilt golden windmills, ignoring the Forex market, and global macros, then dive in deeper.

will never mean anything other than powerful entities print it at will. In the end, the dollar is a steaming pile just like all other currencies around the globe.

Possible. But it's not today, or the coming year.

Also, the entire commodities sector is NOT getting slammed... sheeeeesh. They rotate.

Did I not previously indicate a rotation out of the sector has been, and is continuing to occur? As in sheeeeeesh? As in not a conspiracy?

If you wish to claim the sector is NOT getting slammed, then one is ignoring all metal prices, not to mention oil. Might as well throw in coal.

Keep ignoring the relationship between the USD, and Gold. And the next time one wishes for all fiat currencies to turn to goo, and presumably the global economy to follow, take a look at what happened to gold in 2008.
