what's the average time before a company states they will release a dividend and actually disburse the payments? Doe this differ in this sector than others? we are being controlled by other factors than chk. They did that they can do and are continuing to make moves. Buyout would be nice but I'm happy with CHK doing their thing. this was a short term trade that has the ability to be held for years or even decades. I do believe we have decades before the transition to energies that do not include natural gas and oil so good luck to the long term holders. Short term traders gotta stay on your toesz and please stop filling this forum up with non sense rubbish. To the people who knows its annoying and the people who don't it's just ignorant.
