PayPal spinoff. Shares of PayPal (PYPL) will be distributed to eBay owners Friday, July 17, and they'll start trading on Monday, July 20. For each share you own of eBay, you'll get one share of PayPal.
Although the PayPal shares haven't started trading yet, the "when-issued" shares have. Those shares should give you a rough idea of where the stock will be.
