Dilution is bad, but it is the RIGHT way to fund the company until they find treasure. there is no other way. (Although anyone with some ideas on how to fund the company this summer without raising it can speak now. ) Either you dilute with equity or you dilute with debt. Those are the choices. No one here has ever had thoughts otherwise. We all know it. It's not something to knock the company for doing. It's the way it is. for ALL small companies. Heck, that's what the stock market IS. Selling shares to raise money from others to pursue your goals that are bigger than just yourself and your own pocketbook. And until they find treasure, I would imagine (GUESS) that they will continue to share shares monthly. Maybe 3 million. 5 million. per month. to raise enough to dive.
Personally I am thankful they HAVE people who will buy shares or lend money, because they believe in KK. I don't care if they are relatives of his. that shows even his family believes in this goal. Other investors? Great. Because if you have investors willing to buy your shares direct from the company, in a restricted form, and give the company operating money, you can continue to operate. I know another company in this same field that ran OUT of investors. So they stopped operations. two choices. Dilute to raise and then spend money and continue to search, or stop searching so you don't spend money. I feel good we have investors willing to participate in stock and debt purchases, so we can continue to dive. Without diving, we could not have success. Which we are all HOPING for, this summer. But it is still an unknown until it is found.
Bottom line is that until we find treasure I have no problem in dilution. It beats the alternative (of stopping funding, stopping diving, and never having that chance). IMHO, of course.
