It just occured to me @OpFerguson @nikkihaley @Deray that you guys think either symbols have the power to control and either kill; Or you just do not understand history. The Persians knew by removing the Egyptian history they could control what people thought about issues. This led to many bloody battles and even to harsh Persian slavery which lasted several centuries. William Ellison or April as he was called was the biggest slave owner in South Carolina. He was black, he did not use the flag for a symbol of hate.

The civil war was about money. What the south wanted was to keep what they had (gold mines in north Georgia, ports for trade, and farms.). The north knew they did not have the minerals nor did they have the ports to export nor import like the south. THAT IS WHY THEY WENT TO WAR. Slaves were released from bondage for military reasons. Except, white northern, did not see them as equally as the northerners. Sherman's march freed people from bondage then he used them by promising a better life in the north. But instead he left them here...

You see, you can not change the facts of history. Nor can you stop people who are willing to learn history. Personally I have no problem with it being in a museum. I do, however, have a problem with people thinking it is a sign of racism without actually knowing history. In this day and age computers are the new gold and they can tell us things in seconds. So if someone wants to learn something all they have to do is type it in. Having said that we know the Sunkist is not actually racist, but racists used it.

Symbols are only as powerful as what someone gives them. The meaning changes from person to person. #ALLLIVESMATTER, You all have a great day (Bless your hearts!).
