How do you see through that cloud of negativity? Assume you were a month from your 21st birthday and went to apply for a job at a bar and you had all the qualifications for the job, having passed bartender school, but were too young to work at a bar, needing to be 21, and the bar manager said come back when you're 21; would you say your job application was rejected? Or would you assume you could get the job as soon as your birthday arrives?
