Let's try to figure this out:

IF Microsoft bought InterDigital for $75 per share:

35 million shares @ $75.00 would cost $2.625 billion.

Let's say Nokia gave Microsoft $600 million.
Lets say that Interdigital has cash of $800 million
That makes the deal cost a net of $1.225 billion.

What is owed to us by LG?
What is owed to us by ZTE?
What is owed to us by Huawei?
What is owed to us by Apple and their manufacturers?
What is owed to us by all of the other manufacturers?
What is owed to us by all of the other 'infringers'?

What 'write-off of Goodwill would Microsoft benefit (tax wise) ovr the years?

Bottom line, a $75 price tax on InterDigital right now would be as MICKEYBRITT WOULD SAY:

A SCREAMING BUY
