Even if the product is ready to ship by or near their stated deadline, it will be a long time before any substantial sales materialize. Why? Hardly anyone will know about the device. Much promotion and marketing will be needed. At least, there will be a product available for testing and review by the press and end users. But, the company will have to get cracking, as these efforts will not be easy.
