One of the most important "lessons" in reading all these fish oil/Omega-3 related studies is how important it is to get the correct minimum dose of the active ingrediant be it EPA or DHA. Why so many studies have been done using OTC fish oil at "recommended dosage" is futile. Also, with DS fish oil you really do not know what you're getting. Impurities could have a negative impact especially for those taking massive doses. For the FDA to choose not to understand this is either neglegence or criminal.
