NASDAQ bell ceremony and sample agenda.

The Opening Bell ceremony at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York’s Times Square serve as a platform to generate exposure for your company, make a news announcement or celebrate corporate milestones. Hosted by a Nasdaq senior executive, the Opening and Closing Bells allow listed companies to address a wide audience with specific messages.

Choreographed by a professional event planner, each ceremony is carefully designed to showcase your company on the Nasdaq Webcam, MarketSite Tower and participating television networks such as CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business News and many others - reaching millions of viewers worldwide.

When ringing the Opening or Closing Bell at NASDAQ MarketSite, you have access to the following resources and services:
Depending on the length of the individual speeches, the Opening Bell ceremony begins roughly at 9:15 AM. The Closing ceremony begins roughly at 3:45 PM. You will be presented with an agenda that will break down the ceremony’s activities minute by minute; at the end of the menu is a sample agenda for your reference.

Our bell ceremonies are kicked off with a short video presentation about Nasdaq. Following the video, a Senior Executive from Nasdaq delivers an official welcome message at the end of which he or she offers the floor to your CEO/Chairman/President or “Bell Ringer” for further remarks. The Bell Ringer takes the stage to address the group. When crafting remarks, bear in mind the Bell Ringer is allotted two minutes maximum to speak. The audience includes not only the guests in the room, but also those who will watch the raw DVD of the ceremony we provide.

We also air the ceremony on www.nasdaq.com, and broadcast the ceremony on our MarketSite Tower with closed captioning. Finally, at the conclusion of the formal remarks, guests are invited to join both speakers onstage for the official Bell Ceremony to officially ring the bell.
