Even though property prices are relatively low on a price to rent basis and the gse have at least 3 years of reserves to cover peak actual credit losses 9 year after the bubble began, all mortgages will be worthless without the us government. You are right - I don't think the dow will be above 10k soon. Better buy those bonds while they still pay interest as soon we will paying the government to lend it money. Probably a good thing as everything is worthless unless they( us government ) guarantee it! Going to list my house asap as it's worth nothing without that us government guarantee!
