Just installed a “4K” monitor from Dell, but the drivers on OS-X 10.9 didn’t work right. (Images on the rightmost edge of the screen were garbled.) So I upgraded to Yosemite, and that fixed the problem.

Images on the new monitor look great. Now I just have to hope Yosemite doesn't introduce any bugs!
