I am mostly of German descent (they came over in 1856) but i am sure that i had relatives on the other side in WWII, and had several uncles who fought on the US side. I know my uncles did, and suspect the german guys all served honorably, but we all know which side won. Displaying a swastika would not honor the soldiers who fought and died for a cause they were swept up in, even if their personal ethics and patriotism led them down a bad path. I think the point i am trying to make is that the symbology of movements that were racist, either through enslavement or genocide can be hurtful to the victims. And it has nothing to do with the bravery of our ancestors in times of war.
