I totally agree, worst coverage of ANY sporting event ever! I have never liked when the cameras just show the ball in flight, just sky and ball. The Fox cameras couldn't even find the ball, just sky. They sometimes couldn't find it after it hit the ground. Admit the broadcast got better after that total disaster of day one. But on the final day, they broke to a commercial saying "Here we are midway through the final round of the US Open." The final group had just completed the 4th hole, guess they were going to quit after 8. Late in the final round, Snedeker, I think it was him, missed a put on the low side of the hole. The announcer said he had a little too much speed to take the break, it broke a foot below the hole.
However, it was nice to have a break from Johnny Miller!
