Steph, F6 and all: IMO all of us are right. Me I come from both worlds, family stores handed down thru the years from all 4 great grandfathers who fought on the side of the south, by the way none own slaves. No one in family as far as I know own any slaves. As I said I come from both worlds. I grew up in the Deep South and I grew in the world of the KKK. I have known a lot of Klan members & still do. In my heart I know there thinking is all wrong. I think back to when I was a kid working on my uncles ranch in East Texas, even at that time I could not understand why when we were in the field all of us (meaning black & white) ate under the same shade tree, drink out the same water bucket. When we went to town to eat, my Uncle Kirk and I went in the front door and the black hands went around back. Even today that still holds true here in the Deep South.
All this started over the flying of the Stars & Bars and I have seen nothing in my soon to be 71 years to change my mind. I will hold my head high & proud when the Stars & Bars pass buy.
