Sorry I missed the self directed 401K part. I checked Fidelity and Schwab. they both allow international trading but only for individual or joint accts.

You could always do what I do for my relative's accts. If I really like a Canadian stock, I just buy the pink sheet version for them. I try to calculate the exchange rate so I don't pay too much and haven't had any troubles with their accts. I don't trade frequently for them so the pink sheet symbol usually works fine.

I'm away from home but there is a little boutique broker that I ran across that trades in Canada. I will check it out and let you know tomorrow.

Please post stock symbols first in all your posts. If it's a foreign stock, please list the US pk equivalent symbol.
