Chuck Norris Just Unleashed the Truth About Charleston, And Every American Needs to See It
It’s a cycle as predictable as the sun rising: every time a violent shooting occurs in the United States, President Obama and the Democrats use the occasion to push for more gun control.
However, in an op-ed, Chuck Noris dropped a truth bomb on the American public — if anything, more guns in the right hands could have stopped a tragedy like Charleston from happening in the first place.
“President Obama was dead wrong when he immediately took advantage of the tragic South Carolina massacre to promote his anti-gun agenda,” Norris wrote in the piece for WND.
“When will Obama and other progressives learn that increasing government gun control and legislation won’t keep them out of the hands of bad guys? They will further disarm honest, good Americans who need that protection against murderous thugs like the parasite who walked into the Emmanuel AME Church.
“Imagine once again, if just one of those Christians who held a Bible in their hand at that AME church also packed a pistol via a legal concealed weapons permit. Souls could have been saved.”
Norris then quoted statistics from TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch, which gave the lie to Obama’s take on gun control.
Fewer guns cause fewer crimes? That’s false, according to Loesch: “Honduras has 21 times the gun murders that we do and 14 times fewer guns.”
The gun laws in South Carolina were inadequate to deal with Dylann Roof? False again: “In South Carolina, all you have to do is be charged with a felony to be declared illegitimate to carry, which (Roof) was in February of 2015. He was charged with a felony for drug possession. It was methamphetamines and cocaine. His father purchased a firearm for him for his 21st birthday, April 4, 2015. That could have been a straw man purchase, which is also a felony. He reportedly told someone that he stole the gun that he used in these murders. That’s also a felony. Felony, felony, felony.”
Finally, Norris said that self-defense was a tradition deeply rooted in Christian belief.
“Faith is not an excuse to bypass self-defense,” Norris wrote. “That’s not my original idea or position. It’s found in the Good Book.
