Pannos thoughts are very clear and sound. Derisking TT-034 is a good thing, and if TT-034 continues to shine, then that funding will merely be extra that the company can use. Additionally, listing on the Nasdaq will give greater exposure to investors, and a market, that appreciates the value of biotechs. I personally feel that Benitec management knows TT-034 will perform to expectations, but why IPO before results if that's the case? I think it is to raise capital to push other programs faster, and not having to wait for TT-034 results to get the cash. It is a short term drop, with what seems a more closer longer term gain by being able to find trials that they feel will succeed sooner if they have the cash. AMD is a big one, and I think they feel that if TT-034 is successful, hep b will already be in the bag.
