I was one of the people present at this year’s meeting. I have difficulty hearing sounds in certain ranges and consequently, I can only understand a small percentage of what’s being said by the speakers. For this reason, I use my phone to make a recording of the speaker’s comments and I end up with several audio files. I import them to my computer and use an audio editing app to enhance the quality of the sound. I then convert the .wav file to an .mp3 file and upload it to my mobile devices for playback. The end result is that I can now hear the comments much more clearly. I can increase the volume to whatever level I need and if I still have difficulty understanding what’s just been said, I just rewind it a bit and replay it. Anyone listening to these files can also pause during the playback to make notes and then resume play without missing anything that’s being said.

I have posted all the files in my Dropbox account. If anyone would like access to these files, I need to have an email address from you where I can send the link to the folder that has the files. Email me at meerscope1367@gmail.com requesting the link and please include your iHub ID. Your real name is not necessary. I think the people who have posted their recollections of what was said at the meeting did a very good job and that will be confirmed by the recordings. I also believe that if everyone can hear for themselves the actual remarks made by the speakers, the people on iHub with a particular area of expertise can share their conclusions with the rest of us. I’m sure there are many more questions that people have and they’ll have access to all that was revealed at the meeting. I think most everyone would like to see this forum become what it’s intended to be, and that’s a place for sharing constructive thoughts and not a battleground for agendas and egos. I see the beginning of that with the comments that have been made here since the meeting.

I ended up with a total of eight files. For some unknown reason, my recorder turned off on its own a couple of times, but it was well into the speakers remarks and not much info is missing. I have Dick Kaplan’s opening statement, the CEO report, and the Q&A session, all in their entirety. Joe McMahon spoke a few times introducing the company’s engineering staff and their impressive accomplishments. Each of the lead engineers for both the MyCadian Watch and the pump spoke to the development of their respective products. I believe Matt Kenyon leads the team developing the watch. I couldn’t make out the last name of the engineer leading the team on the pump, but I think his first name is Doug. His last name could be Bennett or Pennett, but I’m not sure. Can anyone confirm those two names for me so I can name the appropriate files correctly? I didn’t record the CFO report because I felt listening to a financial report was not the most beneficial way to garner that information. Reading a SEC filing would be a much better way.

For those who attended the meeting, this will be an opportunity to refresh their recollections. And for anyone who didn’t attend, an opportunity to hear firsthand all that those in attendance heard. It will be interesting to see if the enthusiasm that most of us have after the meeting is shared by those who weren’t able to attend.

Keep in mind that these files were made without sophisticated equipment by someone with no experience with sound recording. I made every effort to minimize any unwanted noise when making the recordings and for the most part, succeeded. I did find that the slightest movement on my part was picked up by the recording. Considering the method, the finished product is pretty good. I have some finalizing to do with posting the files on Dropbox and they should be ready soon. Send me your email address and as soon as the files are ready, I’ll send you the link.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anything said at the meeting is confidential information. So, I don’t see anything wrong with making these recordings available to the shareholders and the public in general. In fact, I think the company's leadership would encourage the distribution of this information to anyone who might be interested to know what Torvec is all about. Anything that helps get public awareness of what Torvec is about has to be good. I’ve been promoting this company ever since I first became a shareholder in early 2004, even when some of my friends thought I was crazy. And there were times when I thought that might not be far from the truth. But I’m a shark in the water now. I smell the blood of eventual success. If anyone can give me good reason not to make the files available, please feel free to get in touch with me thru the email address I’ve provided. If everything is a go, I’ll start sending out the link to those who request it.
