I dragged my butt to the meeting just for the cookies and ended up staying for the whole shebang. The fact that I sat there and listened for the entire hour and 45 minutes when there was a Yankees game on should speak for itself... Very intriguing video/presentation and discussion on the Mycadian watch. In addition to individual consumer use, DK spoke of potential for business use in air traffic control, airline pilots, security guards, trucking industry and other industries that require alertness, where employers have their employees wear the mycadian and receive feedback if an employee is in danger of nodding off, they can give them a break, coffee, relief etc. mycadian will initially communicate through blue tooth to the wearers smart phone and then upload from that to a server. They are engineering the watch using existing technology, the "special sauce" as DK put it is the programming algorithms by the engineering whiz kid that track and read the wearer's circadian rhythms. I know, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, not sure what category fool me since 2005 puts me in, but this thing sounds like the real deal.

The pump, nothing new other than push back the timeline.. again... but keep in mind startup companies take 5 years to sell a product typically and it hasn't been 5 years yet since DK took the helm and started righting the ship.

The cookies did not disappoint. There were some little frosted shortbread numbers that packed a punch for their size. Maybe they engineered them the same way as the pump...
