Donnie: RV can happen when everything is done. We don't have the list of what that everything is. If we did we'd be able to cheat and buy a ton of Dinar right before the last thing on the list is complete.

So IMO we'll never know what has to be done until after the RV and we look back to see what was done. Providing we have time to look back with all that money to count and invest and use to help others.

beth: Donne, I agree. Too bad that we didn't have the blueprint of this RV. (lol)

BGG: IMHO - I don't agree with that - in fact, Xxx was hinting around the same idea today as well...

larrykn: the way they have been completing laws I would think we are a lot closer then every before, final touches imo

Donnie: what is stopping the RV in your opinion ?

BGG: I personally believe there is a very serious struggle going on between the CBI and GOI. I have said it for sometime now.

TimandJulie: struggle is becoming an understatement for them

beth: So they need to get Alaq out of there and put someone in there that Abadi can trust

Donnie: wouldn't cleaning up the CBI GOI relationship just be another step to complete?

jeffusa: IMO... nothing except the security needs to be done

BGG: Alak coming out with this press conference tomorrow to "explain away" his incompetence just more clearly illustrates this...

BGG: he agrees with me Smile

BGG: Alak is trying to get ahead of whatever Parliament has planned for him in the next few days.

BGG: he's got to come out with something.

beth: What could that be in order for him to save face?

BGG: not exactly - nor do I have an opinion on that facet - I'm talking about the "politics of reform"... at this point.

beth: Maybe raise the rate of their currency?

Donnie: I can't wait to see Alak back-peddling his way out of this one (lol)

larrykn: BGG if Alak doesn't do something with the rate change soon would you think Adabi will replace him within day of now

BGG: no idea - but he's getting out ahead of the BBQ they are about to perform with him "on the spit"...

BGG: I have been advancing that narrative for sometime now... it could easily happen.

BGG: I personally believe Alak has been Maliki's henchman and has been advancing the "anti-Abadi" agenda all along. You think they (Iraq) doesn't know this??

puffdragon: Alak is fighting for his boss (maliki ) and abadi is tired of the delays and Sunday meetings may hopefully be the end of alak jmo

BGG: Further - I do not paint Maliki, Abadi and Alak with the the same "Dawa Party" brush. They are not.

Donnie: YES - we are STILL waiting :'(

beth: I sure pray that they have opened thier eyes up to what Alak and Maliki have been doing






BGG: there is a very serious internal struggle there as well.

larrykn: I agree BGG, Abadi is a whole different type of person then Maliki

subgirl: hang on and let's just see what becomes of the day tomorrow ok? :) I think something really good might come from it?!!!

BGG: the people have threatened to riot in the streets - of course they know what they've been up to.

Donnie: yup - which requires waiting until tomorrow. Speaking of which it's already 6:30 AM in Iraq....

larrykn: can't wait for tomorrow night to hear what happened :)

BGG: Maybe not - he had to "chisel away" at Maliki's power base before he could afford a direct assault. I think they are there - or getting close. This Mosul investigation is about to go very bad for Maliki. If his former Head of the Army actually testifies as was leaked - there is rumor Maliki will face charges of treason.

subgirl: yes it is and I don't think they are active in parliament til 11AM their time

BGG: he / they / them - the GOI collective...

Donnie: very true

TimandJulie: Makes sense to just let him rant and rave while behind it collecting up all the means to end it for him and his goons

BGG: I think they are... I am very hopeful about what the next few days brings.

TimandJulie: How he is still alive amazes me

Donnie: I get all excited and it's hard to sleep at all some nights like this.

beth: Donnie, I get like that too.

BGG: I am talking about the political aspects - which, with any luck paves the way for the economic reform - as per my recent calls, they are running out of time.

Donnie: I understand exactly what you're talking about
