Whether the imminent reverse split was a barrier towards 1$ or not was never my point. But it certainly had a big affect on bringing down the pps from .60 to .28.

Do other stocks often lose their value before and after reverse split. Yes, in general that is my experience.

Is there any event that can drive the stock over a 1$ in a near future. I don't know and I don't think so. But apperently AEZS could speculate its potentials strong enough to be accepted by Nasdaq.
