Very good question and I’m discussing it…

And I hope others do, too!

Chemi, I would think that Doug would no doubt have a backup plan. Or at least a plan that coincides with expected government funding pronouncements.

Consequently, I think that we have a display partner in-waiting. And I say that simply because of the mention in our DSS conference report of our contact with optical engineering firms – why mention it otherwise? What caught my surprise was many of their clients are anxious to develop 3D visualization product. And they know that it takes monies appropriated to the R&D effort for that unique product development, but… they’re client’s needs need to be met.

If my guess plays out, we will have a JDA with an engineering firm, which SCHOTT would have to approve as mentioned in the report. And I believe that this is a complementary plan to any funding proposal that we’ve submitted to the fed/gov thus far. In other words, we need the image space development maximized as soon as possible… and in doing so, we need the combined efforts of SCHOTT and the new display partner completing our next display unit.

And we’re doing this while we await word concerning our funding proposals… and our potential partner knows this! This is the puzzling part to me.

He knows that he will be contributing to nothing more than discontinuous innovation, disruptive technology, disruptive innovation… whatever you want to call it. But! He, like SCHOTT, knew he would have a cut in this experience through that JDA. He, like SCHOTT, paid the upfront fees, licensing fees, whatever, to be a part of it… knowing that there’s much more to come, if successful. He knows that not only will he meet his client’s needs, he will have to satisfy government needs as well.

We know that we only lack proof of the image space display and I believe Doug gave us a hint of a new partner to help progression of our patented technology.

Think about it. How much private R&D funding does it take to build out a successful image space? SCHOTT North America bet on its subsidiary and named it “Defense” to do its part. What would some billion dollar display giant bet on its new subsidiary company to prove its industry prowess?

Bottom line: CSpace is not going away. And answer this: Who owns it? And who has exclusive rights to it? That’s right. I’m holding.

For what it’s worth.
