The plaintiff, Lance Gooberman, appears to be involved in lawsuits more often than not. Both sides of the game as well. He hasn't missed an opportunity to file a claim. In 2003 Gooberman lost his license as a MD for 5 years, a result of negligence, in 2003.

If I didn't have shares in BICX I'd still be rooting for them to win this case. Gooberman has lied about how many patients died under his care as well as about how many actually died due to his incompetence. According to the law he apparently has paid his dues; nevertheless, I don't think he should have ever been allowed to work with addicts again, let alone with patients at all. He obviously doesn't have their well being at heart.

Oh, I almost forgot. Someone here mentioned the possibility of Bicx forming one company to sue in order to rid themselves of debt. Obviously that is not the case, however Gooberman has turned his implant rights over to another party in the past because of his in ability to practice at the time. Perfectly legal, but it's a familiar scenario being that Bicx has been issued rights for GoMedical's implant.
