Stock splits - my observation.

Without fundamentals (revenues and earnings) to support the higher post split stock price, a reverse stock split usually just results in a decline back to pre-split stock levels. It actually helps the shorts and the high frequency machines!

For example, a 1 for 10 reverse split of a .10 stock results in a $1.00 stock that then will quickly decline back to .10 per share.

Management and the board could better spend their time reducing operating costs and pursuing revenues and earnings.
