I did not make it sound like anything other than a non-cash transaction. I see it floated around the internet as "bought". Technically it is a "stock purchase transaction", however it is classified as a "non cash transaction".

It is funny that it is alluded as a "bought" as in someone grabbed cash and paid Fidelity or Toronto Dominion to acquire the shares.
