Spreadtrum will use Intel 14nm FinFET process technology for both the low- and high-end mobile chips the company plans to launch in 2016.


Getting the foundry competitive for volume use is a huge advance. This is the real way for Intel to make money at the lower end instead of giving away subsidies on chips.
