Other than conjecture and guessing, there isn't anything better than simply finding out the facts. To say that KDS sales don't happen because someone may or may not have requested a D&B is silly. Reality check - sales have taken place with 3 so far this fiscal year. Now I will be the first to say this is not good and is far off what it should be. However, to say sales are not taking place and base it on our own belief as to what we, as a buyer, might want in order to confirm the ongoing aspect of a business simply does not make sense when juxtaposed against actual sales.

If I understand your other point about sales versus shipping, I believe that was intended was perhaps "revenue from sales versus booked sales"? One thing is for certain on this point, BN has done a really bad job on this score. There have been shipments that were not fully paid for and at least 1 machine they were not able to get back when the buyer failed to pay the balance due (it would have cost more to work through the EU legal system and pay to have it returned). They have had a number of big lessons taught them over the past few years. Unfortunately, I just don't see any evidence they have learned from them.

So while I don't subscribe to a lot of the hyperbole, I also believe there is significant room for improvement in how FASC is managed.
