Not to mention that our target is more surveillance and s&r. Also, Our military has great fixed wing drones. This is something different. Imagine if the forward troops can get re supplied via drones. Low altitude hover based re-supply is a whole lot more secure than big trucks making heat and noise.

I think the role of drones in many aspects of govt is in it's infancy. I am hoping we have some good techies working range and payload to make this all happen.
