Please allow me to educate you on FPFI. Joe has tried different business ventures and found his forte' is being a venture capitalist behind FPFI. If you look deep at the other business ventures inwhich you are familiar with Joe's involement, there is a rationale for why things turned out the way they did. You can blame Joe all you want, but to me he is a straight shooter. With FPFI(when it was Stakool) Joe tried his hand at a few product lines. He had some success, but ultimately decided to let Kevin Quirk and Scott Martin give it a try. Kevin and Scott are proving to be a successful team as they have developed a valuable, industry disruptive product in a fast growing market. It is also been USDA organic certified, NON-GMO certified. To makes things even more eye opening, they have a distribution contract with UNFI(a large organic distribution company) and placed on shelves at Whole Foods Markets(the nation's largest organic market chain). Btw, J.P.Carey's(Joe's) contract with FPFI for $1.25 million over 3 years is a "put" contract with a modest 15% discount. To help you better understand the terms, it is known as "friendly financing", NOT toxic! That tells me Joe is maturing as a venture capitalist. Like many of us with a few years under our belt, he is making wiser decisions with time. I think FPFI will be a winner for everyone involved. Using Suji juice performance as a market guide, you can clearly see how in short time FPFI'S debt can be eradicated. They started in a few WholeFoods markets and grew $40 million in revenues in just 2 years from a stand still. Suji had far stronger finance backing from the start as a private company, so I don't expect FPFI(Harvest Soul) to compete with the manufacturing volume Suji put out. That said, FPFI still has the tools necessary to become solvent and start building their cash on hand in a year or two. Bottom line is FPFI has the potential the ventures you speak of never had. :*)
