I agree with the above: being bought out by TWD, BED, etc, would be pretty cool....a fast-track into the market...
But, I don't think 'scam' and AMMCAN really fit in the same sentence. These folks are inspired by personal reasons to jump into this industry. While the corporate world doesn't often mesh with the 'compassion' MMJ users are seeking, there certainly exists a profound chemistry with this group: you've got a mix of those who are very intimately involved with the MMJ community, and, hopefully, the business plan and corporate structure that will propagate the Supreme dream!...
Even I'm capable of thinking up much more sophisticated 'scams' than the one you've described...

Load and hold, folks. See you in a year or five! The dream remains the same! I'm holding the bag, sure, but for something I believe in, and something that I'm very happy to be apart of. Gains will come, eventually, although our timing may have been a little off.
