I would have to agree.

What the author describes is minuscule and timid compared to the full landscape of internet depravity that's existed over the decades. From 4chan, 8chan, deep web, dark web, bridge jumpers, rotten, steak and cheese, spacedicks, etc, (I don't recommend any of these places, especially spacedicks); one could write a BOOK (a scary book) on the abyss the internet can lead you to. Worlds is not on the radar, I assure you. It doesn't deserve an article on it's own merit.

Instead this article briefly touches on a place that I, a Worlds investor who is FROM the internet, didn't even know existed. Only to quickly switch gears into full blown bashing halfway through. At first, the author attempts to establish a connection with the reader by praising Worlds as a creepy but almost nostalgically cool internet throwback, only to fully abandon the internet sub-culture approach and plunge headlong into finance.

I read vice and I have no doubt that their authors are also from the internet. If they wanted to write an article about creepy internet places they would mention a host of twisted and depraved places that some would find downright deplorable. Not a "David Bowie themed world" with Hansen posters and Brittany Spears. This is a hit piece and there can be no doubt.
