A moment of silence please........

Today marks the ONE YEAR anniversary of the Peter Michaels, CEO of Hop-On, public bounty letter which was posted on another board.

It named several people/aliases that he would give $1000 to anyone who could give him information about their/there identity.

My alias was one of the ones named. To date, I have not been served with any papers or heard nary a peep from Michaels.

It appears Michaels' attempt to quiet public opinion and postings has failed. It seems it is 1st Amendment - 1, Peter Michaels - 0.

It also comes to mind that Michaels was going to hire some tech guy to work his Mad Skills to get the information, which sounded illegal. Think there has to be paperwork, like a search warrant, to do that kind of thing.

Anyway, moment of silence for the 1st Anniversary for Michaels' attempt to thwart free speech..
