If the m-fuel or battery technology (or whatever the soup du jour technology is today) offered the promise they claimed, then there would be non-toxic financing, it would have been in place years ago, and there would be no need of "returning" value to the shareholder. Value would be there in abundance. However, since the house was built on straw, it collapsed and it is what it is.
