I like to plant radishes because they tolerate the cold and I can plant them early. They are similar to turnips, the cooler the soil is, the better they taste. I like to slice them thin and put them in salads. They germinate quick and grow fast too.

I'm not going to soak my cuke seeds for 3 days in milk. I have to work today and tomorrow, so I'll put them in Sat night to plant on my day off, Sunday. I agree with you, 3 days would be nasty on the milk, lol.
