Don't forget Tennessee is next to North Carolina. Also: Hemp History Week, June 1-7..TENNESSEE HEMP SEED

Latest News

Late last week the DEA approved Tennessee’s registration request. This week import permit applications were sent to the DEA for approval to bring certified seed into Tennessee. We don’t know how long it will take DEA to approve our import requests, but we were told they were going to thoroughly review each request as well as all of the applications. We cannot order seed until the import permits are approved.

Just in Breaking news "The DEA has approved Tennessee's Registration to import shipments of seed" Now Tennesse will be one of the largest hemp producers in the country with 2200 acres this season. More to come! We want to thank The DEA for there help and The Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture for there continued efforts to get a crop in this year.

The CBD bill that passed yesterday is a great example of why we should be producing and marketing industrial hemp here in Tennessee. Thanks to the TDA for there support and support of Tennesseans.
The DEA has asked state officials for more details on planned uses for the crop.

The TNHIA meeting last night was less than disappointing for hemp in Tennessee. Seems the DEA has dragged its feet to the point we are going to have to threaten legal action. a class action suit on behalf of Tennessee farmers against the DEA may be necessary in the future. We the farmers, TNHIA and the support of Vote Hemp The Nation Biggest supporter of legalization are setting steps in place to bring this to a conclusion that supports the will of the state not the DEA. Who was supposed to be defunded from interfering with state laws. The DEA has asked state officials for more details on planned uses for the crop
