Its very simple to understand what happened here, and I touched on this back in OCT - I saw this more than just a smoke screen. But It did get GFTI over $2.

The news article and the counsel meeting are very clear.

CG had a sweetheart deal. All this man had to do was insure them 300 jobs (that was promised aka smoke screen) AND cover the small a down payment, including the owner of the solo cup factory was willing to finance them. The $2M is strictly used for infrastructure of the facility - That was very clear.

He was trying to squeeze who and what? It was gift wrap for him.

CG couldn't even raise the cash for the small down payment. But to me what is outrages; they had the nerve to proclaim on a press release and announce the purchase of a manufacturing facility. In addition bring the hopes to many unemployed people in the City of Belen or surrounding areas for 300 jobs with an average pay of $40K a year ($12M payroll LOL). I am sure that is why the Governor Susana Martinez went running to the GFTI press conference back in Oct 2014. LOL
