Well, my daddy, Ross's grandpa was originally in the Army Air Corps, then the Army Air Force in WWII, and two of my uncles were also later in the Air Force. We have lots of pictures. This may have been an incentive for my son. He placed 4th in the US in sharpshooting in air rifle competition in High School AFROTC... always was a very good athlete and got good grades. The AF awarded him a great scholarship... like up to $28k a year.
So it is fantastic, and he now has graduated and has the world by the balls, but as a parent... be careful what you ask for... Our Son will be in the AF for at least the next 6-10 years commitment and some goofball President may decide to make war...
Later and Best, bulldzr
