Short squeeze is coming!
1. As of two weeks ago, there were 4.2 million short shares.

2. As of a week ago Tang had 2.6 million common underlying his preferred. He could also have had up to 3.6 million common that he had previously released from preferred but had not yet sold. Thus he could have up to 6.2 million shares altogether.

3. The 3.6 million shares that Tang might have had last week (i.e. shares not locked in preferred) could all be absorbed by short covering.

in sum, the shorters could actually be doing the longs a favor by providing a large enough pool of short shares that need covering to take care of the Tang overhang--or at least to take care of enough shares to enable Tang to convert all of his remaining preferred.
