At this height, the atmosphere is hot and dry and heated the sun.



LMAO. There are two basic physics mistakes in that one sentence.

1. As the air rises around the tower, it expands due to the decrease in pressure, this expansion comes at the expense of thermal energy – thus lowering the temperature.

2. The atmosphere is not heated by the sun. The atmosphere is heated by long wave radiation from the earth's surface.

SWET is hilarious in the number of patently false descriptions of our physical world.
