The company is 17-18 years old. The CareBot was ready for Beta in 2009. The site is largely a discussion of technical information, which doesn't need to be flashy if you understand the technical stuff.

Since the tech is mature there is no need for constant changes.

An old, highly technical site for a 17 year old company seems to indicate that they aren't out to scam anyone.
