The only sad story I get from their report is the one about those who sold or are not buying at these levels. JMO
Business Highlights - First Quarter 2015 to Date:
During the first quarter 2015 net sales were up 24% over the comparable quarter 2014 and up 21% over the previous quarter. Overall operating expenses were down 8%, administrative expenses were down 17% and net loss was down 15% over the comparable quarter 2014. This was due to a concerted effort to reduce general and administrative expenses while increasing contribution margin to fixed expense (gross profit less freight-out and advertising) which increased by 32% over the comparable quarter 2014.
Pulse's working capital has increased by $528,130 to $1,668,253 as at March 31, 2015, up from $1,140,123 at December 31, 2014.
Pulse placed its first order for coconut water for the Mexico market. Pulse ordered 15,000 cases from its new Asian Coconut Water manufacturer; the order should arrive in Mexico in June. On average, the new cost is 30% lower with 15% lower shipping costs.
Pulse has Walmart store manager approval status across the country to sell Natural Cabana® Lemonade/Limeade. The Pulse team has set more than 300 Walmart stores to date.
Wegmans 50 mega-stores are accepting their first shipments of Natural Cabana® Lemonade/Limeade this month. They have ordered 3 truckloads to start with. Wegmans is rated the best overall grocery store in the United States for 2014, and is a US North Eastern favorite with its customers.
Pulse's Canadian distributor secured a listing at all 497 Canadian 7-Eleven stores for Pulse's Natural Cabana® Lemonade and Limeade. The listing includes three lemonades and one limeade as cooler placements. All 7-Eleven stores in Canada are corporately owned with 81 in Ontario and 416 in Western Canada.
Pulse secured a listing for its Natural Cabana® Lemonade and Limeade with Alon Brands 7-Eleven, the largest domestic licensee of 7-Eleven in the U.S., operating 296 convenience stores/gas stations in Central and West Texas and New Mexico. The listing includes three lemonade flavors and one limeade flavor in the cold box section.
Natural Cabana® Coconut Water and Natural Cabana® Raspberry Limeade will join Natural Cabana® Lemonades in the high volume cold box section at 132 Fred Meyer Supermarkets in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. Fred Meyer, Inc., a division of Kroger, is a chain of superstores founded in 1922.
Pulse is in the process of setting another 3,000 retail stores this month through to the end of June.
