Excellent posts Green knight. Refreshing on this board.
I do disagree with a Bedrocan type valuation though. Bedrocan has been selling mmj for about 14 years and has a tight hold on exporting pot.
Supreme has no experience and nothing set up for exportation.
Bedrocan is the flagship Canadian mmj company now and into the future IMO.
We can't forget Bedrocan is a recipient of 2 licenses. And still struggling to surpass 70c. Tweed owns the local market with its current patients.
Looking at all the other recent recipients, I can't, in good conscience, expect more than 30-40 cents upon a cultivation license. Perhaps 50 cents before retrace if we see a quality run. But the hype simply isn't there. Like you said.
I certainly hope supreme gets involved in the exportation game asap, because their margins with selling cheap pot locally are paper thin. Pathetic actually.
Exporting pot is the only way to ensure future growth and substantial profits IMO. Canada just doesn't have the market, and frankly won't until recreational legalization. Even a positive outcome with the allard trial won't compensate LPs enough to turn a good shared profit. Especially with 50+ LPs coming down the pipe in the coming years.
I don't see that happening anytime soon, as the conservatives don't seem like they will be toppled at the federal level.
