Hopefully soon -- but the customer base isn't there yet. If we're at just over 13,000 in the MMPR, with another 50,000 riding on the old system (and rightfully so), then an MMPR license isn't all that terrific anymore. (Just my opinion). Since we're not back in the early hype days of the business. The license will certainly make them jump, I think. Brent suggested .30-40/share on license -- but I'd think we'd end up getting closer to a Bedrocan valuation, to be honest with you, at closer to .70...

In all honesty, I suspect major changes this year, given the Gov's position on this thing. The Conservatives cannot continue to be dyed-in-the-wool prohibitionists, especially when western provinces are contending against the GOV's policy. Also, we now have our first NDP Premier in Alberta since 44 years ago (or something close to that?) ?? That's an eye-opener right there. With the advent of bill C-51, Canadians are losing freedoms by the minute, eeking ever close to revoking the right to protest (if we're not there already). People aren't happy.

The weed thing falls along the same trajectory: we'll be thrown into a legal market sooner than later. October and beyond, irrespective of the election outcome (Conservative or Liberal minority), this thing needs to open up. The real gains will come when these guys are supplying thousands of dispensaries across the country, and that's what I'm holding out for! The MMPR is but a blip -- and a prime example of a f$cked up one foot in / one foot out way to regulate one of the most benign --yet powerfully palliative-- plants in the world. Hold out for the rec market if you want to retire early...

EDIT : Sorry I meant to include that TWEED has over 3,000 of those 13,000+ patients --- so that, again, just goes to show that the customer base SUCKS with the MMAR conundrum. Even with a license to grow and sell, SL won't be able to scoop up a fraction of those patients. Doesn't matter where the license ends up in the interim, except to uninformed investors. Because of that, it'll still spike high enough on MMPR for you to break even.
