What's your evidence for that?

I think it's much more likely it tanked because of facts like these:

"Overall, the nCPAP failure rates through 72 hours after the start of treatment or randomization to the control group were comparable between the AEROSURF and control groups."

"(iii) at 12 hours after the start of treatment or randomization to the control group, nCPAP failure rates in the AEROSURF and control groups were the same at 33%."

The lack of any clinical significance, and the intriguing omission of any statistical significance figures for the other observations account for the pull back after yesterday's unwarranted optimism.

No need to invoke nasty shorts, although I'd love to know if any insiders sold any of their stock into yesterday's little rally.
