he needs cash to pay his salary, even the toxic lenders are having problems moving his worthless paper. if the genius can generate some interest, he can float some more shares and pay himself, to the determent of shareholders and creditors, but most importantly pay himself. ecdc is an atm for the genius, nothing more. any answer he gives is in the service of paying himself, period, end of story.
