their numbers are all about extrapolating results from a prototype and scaling it up.

By the definition alone:

That's all they have to work with presently....

I do wonder though, if they can scale it to the current size,why not try making a manufacture-capable size and go from there.

If they would explain why they can't simply do that,it would go a long way in appeasing many a shareholders mind.
