Check out this video, DBM paid the shipyard $110,000.00 to construct this blower while paying a crew to outfit the boat while on dry-dock for two months. Shortly after that the Dominican Government asked all contractors to remove the blowers as they were "symbols of treasure hunting". They still use these apparatuses in the very conservationist friendly Florida. One man can make up a law in the DR and send out letters and just like that have something that could have made simple work of removing sand gets yanked right off the ship. Who knows what could have been recovered had this tool been used on a daily basis.
